Learning our Student Population Series: Part 3 In-Person

This professional development series seeks to explore the many different types of students we welcome to Walters State. Faculty and staff will learn about the preferences, concerns, and strengths of each population as well as brainstorm ways to help these students succeed both inside and outside the classroom.

Training will be held on Tuesday, April 23 from 3:00-5:00 PM via Microsoft Teams and on the Morristown campus (CCEN 243). Virtual participants will receive a link via WS email to the session prior to the event. You will need a computer with an internet connection to attend virtually.

Only faculty who have taught Fall 2023 or are currently teaching are invited to join this training.   Faculty who attend and complete an assessment of the training will receive extra compensation of $50 (pre-tax) paid according to payroll's established deadlines. If you have questions about the training, please contact Kristen Johnson (Kristen.Johnson@ws.edu).
