Fix-a-Class In-Person

Are you looking to “Fix” your class by making your content more accessible? This 2-day workshop will allow attendees to come in and work on materials regarding accessibility, with the goal of creating a completely accessible course. Trainers with accessibility experience will be available to offer aid, advice, or best-practice suggestions throughout the duration of this workshop. This workshop applies to all course delivery modes including traditional face-to-face, online, hybrid, virtual, and dual enrollment.     

Training will be held on Monday and Tuesday, May 20-21 from 9am- 3pm daily via the Morristown Campus only.  The training will take place in the College Center Building; Instructional Design Training Suite; CCEN 243. Participants are expected to bring a device.  Participants only need to register one time for the training; registration is for each day.

Only faculty who taught fall 2023 - spring 2024 or are currently teaching are invited to join this training.  Faculty members who attend and complete an assessment of the training will receive extra compensation of $150 (pre-tax) paid according to payroll's established deadlines.
