Grading with eLEARN Rubrics In-Person

Need a faster way to grade? Rubrics in eLEARN can cut down your grading time tremendously and enhance the quality of feedback you offer to students. This training will walk you through creating a rubric either for a dropbox assignment or discussion board. Then, we will go over how to attach the rubric to an assignment, how to grade with the rubric, and what students see when the grade is published.  Please come to this training with a rubric document that you wish to use for grading.

Training will be held on Wednesday, June 12 from 1-3pm via Microsoft Teams or on the Morristown Campus (CCEN 243). Virtual participants will receive a link via WS email to the session prior to the event. You will need a computer with an internet connection to attend virtually.

Only faculty who have taught Fall 2023, Spring 2024, or are currently teaching may receive pay for this training.  Faculty members who have completed this training before must receive permission to be compensated for it from the Executive Director of IDEAS: Candace Justice (candace.justice@ws.edu).  Faculty members who attend and complete an assessment of the training will receive extra compensation of $50 (pre-tax) paid according to payroll's established deadlines. If you have questions about the training, please contact Misty Hayes (misty.hayes@ws.edu).
