Gradebook Training In-Person
This two-day training will give you a more comprehensive understanding of eLEARN Gradebooks. Topics will include the following:
- Weighted & points grading systems
- Types of grade items
- Setup Wizard
- Connecting and un-connecting assessments to the gradebook
- Bonus points
- Grade snapshots
- Troubleshooting
Attendees will create a new gradebook during this training and need access to either an old course or a master course to use for setting up the gradebook.
Training will be held on Thursday and Friday, June 5-6 from 9am-3pm daily, via CCEN 243 and Teams. Virtual participants will receive a link via WS email to the session prior to the event. You will need a computer with an internet connection to attend virtually. If you attend in-person, please bring a device. Please only register for one day of the event. Registration is linked. Registering for one day will register you for the entire event.
All staff are welcome to attend this professional development but cannot be compensated for the event. Only faculty who have taught Fall 2024, Spring 2025, or are currently teaching may receive pay for this training. Faculty members who have previously completed this training must receive permission to be compensated for it from the Executive Director of IDEAS: Candace Justice (candace.justice@ws.edu). Faculty members who attend and complete an assessment of the training will receive extra compensation of $150 (pre-tax) paid according to payroll's established deadlines.
