Teaching and Learning Academy: Classroom Connections In-Person

Recent studies show that students who feel a strong sense of belonging are more likely to succeed academically and stay engaged in their studies. "Classroom Connections" will focus on creating engaging and supportive learning environments. This session will cover key topics such as fostering a sense of belonging, encouraging a growth mindset, implementing best practices, utilizing neurodivergent teaching strategies, and more. Instructors will gain practical tools to enhance student engagement, promote academic success, and build stronger connections with all learners.

Training will be held on Monday and Tuesday, June 9-10 from 9am-3pm daily via CCEN 243. Please bring a device. Please only register for one day of the event. Registration is linked. Registering for one day will register you for the entire event.
