Adjunct Community of Practice In-Person

Join us for a three-part series designed specifically for adjunct faculty. Each session will address a key area of classroom management: navigating AI and plagiarism, responding to challenging student behavior, and facilitating difficult or sensitive classroom discussions. These interactive sessions will offer practical strategies and collaboration with fellow adjuncts.

Training will be held on Monday, September 15, October 20, and November 10 from 6-8pm via Teams only. Participants will receive a link via WS email to the Team session prior to the event. You will need a computer with internet connection to attend.  You only have to register for the first event; registration is automatic for the other two.

Only adjunct faculty who have taught Spring 2025, Summer 2025 or are currently teaching may receive pay for this training.  Faculty members who have completed this training before must receive permission to be compensated for it from the Executive Director of IDEAS: Candace Justice (candace.justice@ws.edu).  Faculty members who attend and complete an assessment of the training will receive extra compensation of $50 (pre-tax) paid according to payroll's established deadlines. If you have questions about the training, please contact Erin Bilotti (erin.bilotti@ws.edu).
