Universal Design for Learning (UDL) In-Person
Universal Design for Learning (UDL) offers a flexible framework to help all students succeed by proactively addressing diverse learning needs. In this session, we’ll explore the core principles of UDL and share practical strategies to make your course content more accessible, inclusive, and engaging—without sacrificing academic rigor. Whether you teach online or in person, you’ll leave with actionable ideas to support every learner in your classroom.
Training will be held on Tuesday, September 23rd from 1-3pm in CCEN 243 and via Teams. Participants will receive a link via WS email to the session prior to the event. You will need a computer with an internet connection to attend virtually.
Only faculty who have taught Spring 2025, Summer 2025 or are currently teaching may receive pay for this training. Faculty members who have completed this training before must receive permission to be compensated for it from the Executive Director of IDEAS: Candace Justice (candace.justice@ws.edu). Faculty members who attend and complete an assessment of the training will receive extra compensation of $50 (pre-tax) paid according to payroll's established deadlines.
