AI Technology: NotebookLM In-Person

NotebookLM by Google is an AI-powered research and writing assistant designed to help users to better understand and interact with their own content (e.g., notes, PDFs, documents). For instructors, NotebookLM offers several powerful ways to enhance classroom preparation, delivery, and student engagement. Join us as we learn how to utilize this tool in our own content. There will be time for practice and creation using NotebookLM.

Training will be held on Monday, November 3 from 2:00-4:00 via Microsoft Teams or in CCEN 243. Virtual participants will receive a link via WS email to the session prior to the event. You will need a computer with an internet connection to attend virtually.

Only faculty who have taught Spring 2025, Summer 2025 or are currently teaching may receive pay for this training.  Faculty members who have completed this training before must receive permission to be compensated for it from the Executive Director of IDEAS: Candace Justice (candace.justice@ws.edu).  Faculty members who attend and complete an assessment of the training will receive extra compensation of $50 (pre-tax) paid according to payroll's established deadlines. If you have questions about the training, please contact Kristen Johnson (kristen.johnson@ws.edu).
