eLEARN Basics In-Person

This two-hour session offers training in some of the basics of eLEARN: the three eLEARN minimum standards, building dropboxes, building discussion boards, using the CLASSLIST, answering email, and ADD USERS TO SPECIAL ACCESS in quizzes and dropboxes.

In addition, trainers will be available to assist faculty with any area related to beginning the semester. There will be an open opportunity for questions, where folks can receive help on things like eLEARN, Simple Syllabus, attendance reporting, faculty feedback, Panorama, and even course design.

Training will be held on Thursday, January 15th from 6-8pm via CCEN 243 and Teams. Virtual participants will receive a link via WS email to the session prior to the event. You will need a computer with an internet connection to attend virtually.  If you plan to attend in CCEN 243, please bring a device.

Only faculty who have taught Fall 2025 or are currently teaching may receive pay for this training.  Faculty members who have completed this training before must receive permission to be compensated for it from the Executive Director of IDEAS: Candace Justice (candace.justice@ws.edu).  Faculty members who attend and complete an assessment of the training will receive extra compensation of $50 (pre-tax) paid according to payroll's established deadlines. If you have questions about the training, please contact  candace.justice@ws.edu.
