Claiborne Teaching and Learning Academy (formerly Summer Institute) In-Person
Claiborne Teaching and Learning Academy (formerly Summer Institute) addresses best practices in using eLEARN and other learning technologies available at WSCC. Faculty members who successfully complete the Teaching and Learning Academy and an assessment of the Teaching and Learning Academy receive extra compensation of $300 (pre-tax) which goes into their payroll according to Payroll's established deadlines. Faculty may attend any of the Teaching and Learning Academies. Faculty may return to Teaching and Learning Academies to attend more than once.
Training will be held June 25 through June 28 from 9 a.m.-4 p.m. at the Claiborne Campus in WSCE 032. You only need to register one time for the Teaching and Learning Academy; registration is for all four days.
