Mobile Learning Academy (MLA) 2.0
Mobile Learning Academy (MLA) 2.0 shows faculty how to create an assignment for the classroom that engages students in creating their own presentations, provides faculty with information on how to integrate such student presentations into their classrooms, and allows faculty to create a rubric for assessing students’ presentations. You must attend an MLA 1.0 session before attending this training session. Faculty members who successfully complete this professional development and assess the training receive extra compensation of $150 (pre-tax) and will be paid in accordance with Payroll's established deadlines. This two-day training session will be held from 9 a.m. - 4 p.m. on August 1 and August 2 in CCEN 243. Participants must attend the MLA 1.0 and MLA 2.0 presentation day held on August 2 from 9 a.m. - 4 p.m. in CCEN 243. You only need to register for MLA 2.0 one time - registration is for both days.
