Online Accessible Microsoft Word Training Course In-Person

Online Accessible Microsoft Word Training Course is an online, eight-week training course that engages faculty with accessible documents and materials for the classroom. All instruction takes place online. This course will focus on revising older documents to meet accessibility guidelines and formatting documents using the Ribbon Tool in Microsoft Word. Since this is a more labor-intensive course than the Online Accessible Syllabus Training Course, it is highly recommended that faculty members enroll and successfully complete the Online Accessible Syllabus Training Course before enrolling in this course. Faculty members who successfully complete this professional development course receive extra compensation of $75 (pre-tax) after completing an assessment of the training course. The online course will run from Wednesday, February 6, 2019 through Wednesday, April 10, 2019. If you have questions about the content of this course, please contact Lora Duvall (lora.duvall@ws.edu; 423.318.2773).
